croc is a tool that allows two computers to transfer files and folders easily and securely. As far as I know, croc is the only CLI file transfer tool that does all of the following:
- Allows two computers to transfer data (via a relay)
- Provides end-to-end encryption (via PAKE)
- Allows simple cross-platform transfers (Windows, Linux, Mac)
- Allows multiple file transfers
- Allows resuming interrupted transfers
- No local server or port forwarding required
- Supports IPv6 with fallback to IPv4
- Can use a proxy, such as Tor
